GEMPA BUMI DI JEPANG, JUNI 1948 (EARTHQUAKE IN JAPAN, JUNE 1948)

Pada tanggal 28 Juni 1948 sore, kota Fukui (jumlah penduduk waktu itu 85.000).Kota Jepang ini, 250 mil dari kota Tokyo, dihancurkan oleh gempabumi    terburuk dalam sejarahbencana di Jepang. Hampir 4.000 orang tewas akibat gempa bumi tersebut dan akibat kobaran api. Lebih dari 20.000 orang luka-luka. (On the afternoon of June 28 – 1948, Fukui (population: 85.000), Japanese city, 250 miles west of Tokyo, was destroyed by on of the worst earthquakes in Japan’s disaster-ridden history. Close to 4,000 people died in the quake and in the fires it sparked; more than 20,000 were injured).
